A produce request does not need to be long. A clear list with the right details gives the sales team a much better place to start.
Start with the product and how you will use it
Name each item and tell us whether it is for a grocery display, kitchen, restaurant, hospitality operation, distribution order, or wholesale account. The intended use often helps explain which pack or format makes sense.
Add the order details
Pack preference, approximate quantity, purchase frequency, requested start date, and destination help the sales team understand the size and timing of the request.
- Product and format
- Pack or case preference
- Approximate quantity and unit
- Purchase frequency
- Requested timing
- Delivery city, state, and postal code
It is fine to say “not sure yet”
If your team has not decided on a pack, count, or start date, leave it open. An honest estimate or open question is more helpful than a guess presented as final.
